Rising falling
Full moon.
Light shines down through
Tall trees onto water.
Water sparkles.
Steam and mist rise to meet the moon through the trees.
Smoke rises to meet the moon through the branches
Rays shine out from the full moon's headdress.
Shadows lie sleeping on the ground.
We stand in the middle,
Arms raised to the moon
Eyes filled with the moon
Half our bodies in steaming water
Half our bodies in rising mist
Steam rising and entering our nostrils
Around us frozen trees
Murmur of night sounds
High above us, the frozen planets and cold stars
Among the trees
Are those who have passed,
Loving us
Forgiving us
Blessing us,
Full moon.
Dark shadows.
One life.
