Welcome to our (Joel & Amber Harvey's) Home Site.

 

It is our modest web presence. Some is public, some limited to interested parties. It's a bit rough in places - eg: navigation (return to prior page) is awkward, etc.

 

Apart being useful for personal uses, like late night reading,  we hope to use it to share stuff with family, friends & neighbors. It's neat to watch the article & link hit-counts to see what may interest folks. These are reset to zero every so often.

 

No brilliant web-site organizational tips and tricks here. For our artsy friends, and family stuff you'll need to login. 

 

Being cautious about web hackers, chinese military snoops, assorted ruski-arze-hewels, and other n'eer-do-wells, and mumbai telephone pests, we want to keep some of our content carefully tucked away.

 

To family, friends, and snoops: if any content being public makes you concerned, it can be secured behind a password, or deleted.

This site uses the (free) Joomla Website Builder. It is popular,well developed and tested, and has lots of free extensions. Also, I understand, and like, its approach and organization more than other packages ( like Wordpress).

 

The site is hosted on A2 Hosting , which I have found to be really good in many ways.
